Each block makes a minimum of 70 litres and is available in the following grades:
Coarse - Has higher short fibre content in order to reduce water holding capacity (up to 60%) and to increase aeration (up to 35%) where these physical properties are needed.
Regular - Contains coir pith particles and short fibre with 20% air porosity and 70% water holding capacity. Regular Coir is an excellent all purpose potting medium and soil amendment.
Seedling - Aged with a small amount of fibre. It has increased water holding capacity (up to 75%) and less air porosity (as low as 13%). Seedling Coir is an excellent growing medium for seedlings, cuttings and golf green construction.
